I found Skyline Benefit due to recommendations from ChatGPT. It was one of the top agencies in the Irvine area with clean records and stellar ratings. I found this very accurate after working with David Keum. He was able to recommend and enrolled me with Medicare/Medigap program within one week of the Dec 7 deadline. When a large brand name bank informed an elderly, retired, relative they were transferring her medical benefits to a third-party vendor it caused us a lot of stress especially considering her age and the complexities of the Medicare system and supplement plans. In one word, David is an “outstanding agent” in every way. I thought that in order to express David's service as A+, the average score of Korean health insurance agents had to be lowered to F to express the difference.
1. Manners that are more important than anything else = good language and attitude (friendly yet respectful attitude), and above all, never push or bother customer candidates. From my perspective, this is a very important point.
2. Knowledge and proactiveness = Knows “properly” about one’s product (in my personal judgment, such agents are rare, as there are few agents who speak English), and responds actively/voluntarily/even almost immediately to all questions from customer candidates. This is an agent who gave an “accurate answer (including presentation of evidence)” and makes you feel like “the investment of time and effort in the answer is significant.” He doesn't even bother asking detailed questions. Of course, this is a very important point for me.

Excellent service from representative David. He straightened out a problem I’d been having for months with the Covered California website in less than 20 minutes. He had my insurance set up the same day and I was finally able to get into my account which I’d been locked out of for months. A couple of days later he followed up with a message that provided me with my member ID ahead of getting my card in the mail so I could get an appointment set up sooner. He then assisted me with changing medical groups when I messaged him that I wanted a different doctor. He stayed on the line until he was certain everything was set up correctly. I asked him a ton of questions and I can’t praise this guy enough for his outstanding help and his knowledge of how the system works.

Wow, I am so impressed with David and Skyline Benefit. Picking a health insurance plan is something that fills me with anxiety and dread. I filled out the information on Covered CA to have an expert call me and I received a call from David very quickly. He sent me estimates and answered every question I had. He even texts! He even called Covered CA to try and work something out for me. After all his work, he actually advised me that COBRA may be my best option and our conversation ended without him getting my business. However, overnight, my circumstances changed and the next day David handled every single aspect and got me enrolled in a Covered CA plan. It is terrific to have someone handle the complicated business of health insurance and I would recommend David to anyone that needs help wading through the swamps of health coverage.

When a large brand name bank informed an elderly, retired, relative they were transferring her medical benefits to a third-party vendor it caused us a lot of stress especially considering her age and the complexities of the Medicare system and supplement plans. In one word, David is an “outstanding agent” in every way. I thought that in order to express David's service as A+, the average score of Korean health insurance agents had to be lowered to F to express the difference.

Excellent service from representative David. He straightened out a problem I’d been having for months with the Covered California website in less than 20 minutes. He had my insurance set up the same day and I was finally able to get into my account which I’d been locked out of for months. A couple of days later he followed up with a message that provided me with my member ID ahead of getting my card in the mail so I could get an appointment set up sooner. Wow, I am so impressed with David and Skyline Benefit. Picking a health insurance plan is something that fills me with anxiety and dread. I filled out the information on Covered CA to have an expert call me and I received a call from David very quickly. He sent me estimates and answered every question I had. He even texts! He even called Covered CA to try and work something out for me. After all his work, he actually advised me that COBRA may be my best option and our conversation ended without him getting my business. However, overnight, my circumstances changed and the next day David handled every single aspect and got me enrolled in a Covered CA plan. It is terrific to have someone handle the complicated business of health insurance and I would recommend David to anyone that needs help wading through the swamps of health coverage.

I was always confused about getting a plan with Covered Ca until i spoke with David. He was very thorough in explaining how it works and explaining the whole process. The best thing is David will help you apply for coverage after getting all the details from you. This does help a lot. I did recommend this company to quite a few of my friends. David is the best, I can't believe how hard he worked to help me. Before my insurance started I ended up in the hospital, he worked so hard to get Medi-cal to pay my medical bills. And today he helped me sign up for Medicare, I can't thank him enough. 5 stars is not enough, he's a 10 in my opinion.
