Who is Eligible for California Choice Group Health Insurance Plans?
If you’re an employer in California looking to purchase group health insurance, there are some basic requirements you need to meet:
- You need at least one full-time eligible employee on your payroll who is not the owner or spouse. This person should have worked for you for at least half of the previous calendar quarter.
- You must enroll at least 75% of your eligible employees in the group health insurance plan.
- The majority of your employees have to reside in California.
