Who is Eligible for Cigna FlexAssure?
Eligibility for Cigna FlexAssure extends to expatriates, inpatriates, third-country nationals, select key local national members, and their dependents, including spouses and children under 26. The program requires at least two eligible employees to be enrolled at all times and must be delivered to a U.S. address.
When is the Program Effective?
The Cigna FlexAssure program becomes effective on the first day of the month. If employees are in active service, they become insured on their eligibility date. If they are not in active service due to health reasons, coverage begins once they resume active service.
